Santa and Mrs. Clause at the Saline Winter Farmers Market Dec. 24

We have special visitors to the Saline Winter Farmers Market on Saturday, Dec. 24 - it's Santa and Mrs. Clause handing out toys and sweet goodies to the children.  Stop by and see Santa one more time before he returns to the North Pole.

We also have a wide variety of produce to add to your holiday meal as well as yummy baked goods, such as bread, muffins, cookies, candies, brownies, chocolate goodies, granola, and so much more.  How about that last minute gift - we have that too.

We are open from 9am-noon - plenty of time to stop by and get what you need then return home to start the preparations.  We hope to see you this Saturday.

Happy Holidays from the Market Manager and all of the vendors at the Saline Farmers Market.

SALINE INDOOR WINTER FARMERS MARKET

There is still time to do your Christmas shopping and buy goodies for your holiday table at the Saline Indoor Winter Farmers Market.  Open every Saturday, November-April from 9am-noon at Liberty School, 7265 Saline Ann Arbor Rd.
So…it is Christmas Eve morning and you have last minute shopping to do.  You ask yourself where shall I shop!  How about the Saline Winter Farmers Market!  You are sure to find that special gift as well as yummy goodies for your holiday table.
So mark your calendar and stop by on Dec. 24 from 9am-noon and gather what you need for the Christmas Holiday.
That’s not all.  The market is also open New Years Eve morning just in case you need some veggies for your New Year’s meal or baked goods or candy to share with friends or even a gift to bring to the party.  We are open on Dec. 31 from 9am-noon.
After the Holiday is over we are still open every Saturday through April from 9am-noon.
What does a Farmers Market offer in the winter?
Well…some of our farmers have “hoop houses” and can offer spinach, kale, collards, chard, lettuce, arugula, choi, parsley and hopefully more.  The vendors say it depends on the weather what they can grow.  Apples are still plentiful at least through February and maybe longer. Of course baked goods including breads, muffins, cookies, granola, sweet rolls, brownies, pepperoni rolls and pies will be plentiful through the winter as well as hand made candies, chocolate, maple syrup, jams/jellies, eggs, local cheese, fresh roasted coffee beans, and specialty food items such as sauerkraut.
Also available is a wide variety of hand crafted items including hand made jewelry, soaps, hats, scarves, socks, mittens, dolls, Christmas ornaments, wooden items such as bowls, pen/pencils, key chains, desk sets, salt & pepper shakers, as well as natural media craft including Native American medicine wheels, rattles and smudge and more.
Who knows what else will show up at this special and unique Indoor Winter Farmers Market.
Come by often to discover what our local farmers, bakers and crafters bring to the market.
